ملخص البحث
تعتبر تقنية أفران الحفرة من التقنيات القديمة في عالم الخزف والتي يعاد إحياؤها بين الحين والآخر من قبل بعض فناني الخزف في العصر الحديث وذلک لما لها من تأثيرات جمالية عديدة على الأسطح الخزفية.
تطرق البحث الحالي إلى دراسة تعدد طرق وأساليب الحريق في أفران الحفرة، وهذا التعدد يختلف من مکان لآخر حسب نوع وکمية الوقود المستخدم، وکذلک حسب الخبرات المتراکمة للخزافين وخاصة معالجات الأسطح، وأيضاً حسب الإضافات من بعض الخامات التي يميل خزافوا مناطق معينة لإضافتها، وبسبب تعدد مشارکات الباحث في العديد من ملتقيات وفعاليات الخزف الدولية مثل المجر، صربيا، ترکيا، فرنسا، کوريا الجنوبية، وغيرها. والتي صادف من خلالها عدداً کبيراً من الضالعين في وسائل وأساليب التسوية باستخدام طرق عدة، مما کون لدى الباحث الهمة لدراسة هذه التقنية وإلقاء الضوء على النقاط ذات الأهمية لتحقيق الفائدة لمن سيتناولها في المستقبل کما تناول البحث الحالي کيفية الإستفادة منها في تدريس منهج الخزف للطلاب في مرحلة البکالوريوس.
کما تناول البحث أيضاً العديد من النتائج التي تمکن الباحث من الحصول عليها وحقق البحث هدفه بوجود جماليات عديدة تحققت من خلال أعمال الباحث الفنية، وکذلک من خلال النتائج التي حصل عليها مع الطلبة بالفرقة الثالثة والرابعة بمادة الخزف المعماري وبعض المواد التدريبية الأخرى، بقسم الخزف بکلية الفنون التطبيقية.
 
Creative Participations in Ceramic Events, (Pit Firing as an example)and It's Influence on Architectural Ceramics Teaching.
Summary:
      Pit firing is considered as a very ancient technique in Ceramic World. It's brought back to life from time to time by some contemporary ceramic artists. That's because of  its variable aesthetic values on ceramic surfaces.
This thesis has considered a study of  the variation of  the ways and methods used in pit firing techniques.
      It varies from a place to another according to kinds and amounts of  fuel used to fire. Also according to accumulative  experiences of  the technique  users , specially surface treatments. Also according to some additives that some ceramists tend to use.
      Due to several participations the researcher attempted in many symposiums, events, master classes  and workshops in many countries such as: Hungary, Serbia, Turkey, France, South Korea and other countries, where he met with many experts in the field of old firing techniques.
From this perspective the researcher attempted to spot some importance on studying this technique, which will benefit future researchers as well. This thesis also explained how it's possible to put this technique to Influence some  Architectural Ceramics Teaching.
      The thesis could reach its purpose by the presence of many aesthetics in many pieces what the researcher could achieve through his journeys., and through the achieved works of his students in Architectural Ceramics subject at the Ceramics Department, Faculty of Applied Arts, Helwan University in Cairo.
