ولم يکن فن الجرافيک يمارس أو يعرف عبر العصور کفن خاص له مقوماته إلا في بداية القرن العشرين، وإن کان قد ظهر في عصور سابقة في تطبيقات محددة کطباعة المنسوجات، واکتسب هذا النوع من الفن خصائص مميزة وفريدة عن سائر الفنون التشکيلية في نتائجها، کما اتاحت له طبيعته التي تفرد بها انتشارا ووصولا إلي الناس في کل المواقع لتحقق لهم المتعة الوجدانية والشعورية.( هيام السيد – 2001 )
ومن هنا طرأت فکرة البحث في عمل مشغولات فنية بتقنيات الأبليک بإحساس فن الجرافيک ولکن نتيجة للاختلافات التقنية والقيم الجمالية لکلا الفنين فنجد أن هناک تساؤلين يطرحا نفسهما يمثلا تساؤلان البحث.
